Because of their small effective mass, excitons are promising bosonic quasiparticles for high-temperature Bose–Einstein condensation. We study how localization, moiré confinement, exciton interactions, and dipolar interactions cooperate in twisted materials. This work proposes material designs for intralayer moiré-exciton condensation and provides models that guide experimental exploration.
